Pulling my camper into Big Bear tomorrow and leaving it there for a few months. Plan to spend as much time as possible on the water and at the camper. Usually fish Jonathan Creek but looking forward to learning some things about the BB area. Be in 21.

How was the bite yesterday and today. Should be down there by 8:30 tomorrow morning and on the water by 9:15. Hoping the warmer weather helped today. Happy Easter!

The bite was good while the cloud cover was there. After the front pushed thru and the sun came out, the fish got lock jaw. Real slow after that. The water temp where I was, was about 52/53. Water was stained to heavy stained. Lots of trash in the water from the rain. Lake still on a slow rise.

I've had reports of fish from 2' to 20' so there ya go!

I can't say for sure but I believe that TVA is gonna raise the lake a little sooner this yr due to the drought last yr. This late cold weather may have worked to our advantage too. I believe that it held the fish off long enough that they'll have plenty of water to spawn in. That is if TVA doesn't pull the water back out from under the fish again this yr.

Sounds like Whiskers is getting some new neighbors.
