March 30th at 6PM. Location is 5 Rivers Taxidermy in Benton. Best way to get there is take the Purchase Parkway from Calvert City off I-24 and go south to the 1st exit Draffenville-Aurora. Go left at top of the ramp from the north onto the 4 lane. About 3/4 of a mile, hwy68 and 641 split at a Y. Take the right fork, 641 south. Come about 3 miles and just as you go past the Clarks River NWR office on the right and cross a small bridge, you will see a 45mph speed limit sign. Turn right at that sign onto River Road, which is just an access road that runs along 641. Look for a long red steel building then a white building with a Valvoline sign. The red building is Choppers and the white building is Parker's Quik Lube. Turn right at the Valvoline sign and come between the buildings. 5 Rivers is in a tan steel building with dark brown roof with gravel parking area. If you come too far past my building, you will run into a slough on CRNWR that is probably still full of waterfowl.

Bring your unit if you like. If you have an extra fused power cable, I can provide some small 12Volt batteries to power them.

You might also want to bring some knee boots or hip boots. I have some I can rent you at a nominal fee. Usually when this bunch gets together, the BS is so deep you are going to need them.

Make sure you bring hip boots. Regular ones are use less

Folks coming from Murray or Aurora: AVOID THE CENTER OF BENTON AT ALL COSTS. This is Tater Day weekend. If you don't know about Tater Day, you are very fortunate. Coming from Aurora, take 68 all the way down to Hwy 58. Take 58 a couple of miles west to 641. Left on 641 for a mile or so.

From Murray or Mayfield, you might be best to take the Purchase Parkway all the way to Draffenville/Aurora exit then go right on 641.

The frontage road mentioned above is actually Riverside Dr. I drive on it daily but had no idea what it is called.

Guys that are coming tonight, bring some folding chairs if you can. I only have 1/2 or so of what we need. Could also use another coffee pot.
