Has the spawn happened youet guys? Also wondering how shallow fish are right now? I caught 8 today that were shallow but all of them came out of one tree if I go back tomorrow can i expect to keep catching shallow? It was tough with the cold front and wind today i was happy with 8 in about 3 hours fished.

They've been spawning for awhile. We've had a late, cool spring and I think you'll see the spawn spread out over a couple of weeks. Water is way up & I imagine Barkley will be going to get real muddy after the big rain they got yesterday. Could push it 3-4 feet, maybe more over summer pool. Supposed to stay up for awhile as they corp is supposed to be holding water. Might be a good time to find a bunch in the bushes.
