    Normally in mid April, we just don't have normal very often .

    I originally mis-read the question. Last yr the lake NEVER reached summer pool. I have seen it as late as the last week of July. It varies yr to yr.

    It'll be tuff to catch 1 today. I'm in Paducah & this Ohio River is upside down! 40 MPH wind and 5' & 6' swells. I bet I bust the tow up when I try to turn around and head south.
