    Default what colors

So I am making some roadrunners for our April trip to Barkley, my go to color is chartreuse. I was wondering what other colors you guys have luck with down there.

Many years ago, a couple of buddies & I wore them out on Barkley ... using PINK marabou Roadrunners. They didn't seem too interested in white RR's or even Chartreuse RR's ... but they'd hammer the all pink ones !!
The Crappie hadn't moved into the buck brush yet, and we were not having a whole lot of luck with minnows tightlined along the channel edge. One of those buddies had some workers down there, who had told him they'd caught some big Bluegill, back in a pocket close to where they were working. We decided to try for the 'gills, since we weren't having all that much luck with Crappie. I tied on a pink RR & started casting back in that pocket. Never caught a Bluegill ... but, after the third or fourth Slab ... my buddies were scrambling in their tackle boxes to find a pink "anything" One buddy even found a pinkish looking jig/plastic grub stuck on a log ... and proceeded to use that, and started catching fish. We fished that pocket/bank for two days straight ... and all three of us limited out (30per), both days. We only had a half day to fish, on our third day, and left them biting to pack up & come home.

If you can ... have some pink, white, chartreuse, and blue/char (or green/char) ... and I think you'll about have the color spread you need.
