Red face Nice Ky Lake Limit Today

Caught a nice limit of Ky Lake fish today, 8 to 10 ft spiderrigging. 7 of them were black crappie. Bobby Garland baby shad, orange and chartreuse, tipped with minnows.

Way to go KYfishman. The lakes have been a little tough for me lately but did manage 14 last Thursday. Lot of muddy water and scattered fish.

Sounds great. Managed 20 yesterday ourselves but man that wind chilled us up good. Gave the shirt off my back to my unprepared novice fishing buddy...he showed up in just a t shirt...no coat!!!

I once took a nose dive wading during duck season. After a mad dash to the levee, I stripped off my coat, shirt, and long underwear shirt. Luckily I had hung the shell from my parka up on the levee for when I cooled off from the walk in. Hunted the rest of the day with just my Columbia parka shell on the top half. When ya only get so many days to go...ya don't give em up unless death is knocking! Ha ha
