Default The day was magical on Barren

Got started about 8:00am this morning and it was a such a memorable day as I zig-zagged down the channel. Two different times I had four fish on at the same time. Today was so good I couldn't even finish a cup of coffee before it had gotten cold. I kept twenty and threw back twice as many. Had the boat back on the trailor by 12:30 and took my catch to the Department of Fish and Game and the took out a small bone, weighed and measured them. I thanked them for making it possible for me to have magical days like this.Name: 2-12--13 crappie 003.jpg

Good job Russ! Sure hate I couldn't get out there, looked like the perfect day. I'm leaning towards trying them Friday.

Brad it would have been perfect for your two poel jiggin routine, they were on the left side of the channel where it turns and heads for the marina just off the small bay with the stick ups. I had the front on the boat pointing north in 12' while the back was in 28' and would let the sinkers bump into the edge of the channel.
