    Default Barkley comparison question

When we think about crappie on Kentucky lake we always think about blood River and Jonathan creek. My question is what is Lake Barkley's equivalent of blood and Jonathan?

I have fished Eddy Creek in the past and done good. Lots of drops and flats.

What about Donaldson Creek? My grandfather lived on Donaldson when I was young and he caught alot of fish back then. Does it get fished much these days? Haven't been there in years and have always wanted to go try it again.

When we go we fish Donalson becuase it is one of the closest ramps coming from the east. Keep that in mind. I can't say that I have had a particularly outstanding day there. There are some stake beds way in the back and buck willas back there too. There is also a state fish attractor at the end of the old road bed. And some docks plus whatever piles people have put in in the past. I know there is some PVC trees out there as my dad and his friends put them in a fw years back.

Old road bed huh? Sounds like a good place to toss out some jugs for some catfish!
