    Default Info on Barkley needed

    Looking around Barkley resort area
How is the crappie fishing there compared to Ky Lake around first of April. Always stayed at Moores just looking to try some place new this year.

Barkley is the "secret gem" for the local fishermen when the "out-of-staters" take over Ky during the spawn...

    Sshhh...don't tell anybody....

    Good bay.

I can't remember ever NOT catching fish in Eddy Creek. Fished there back in Dec. & did well.

Thanks Wiskers, we are looking forward to it. A friends daughter and son in law live there. Hopefully they can give us a clue where to fish. We are just going down blind and hopeing for the best.

That bay has just about everything a crappie could want. Submerged bridges and road beds, ledges. creek channels, flats, stumps, stake beds, brush piles, blow downs, pea gravel, chunk rock, etc... I would fish it more if the drive were shorter.
