By this time of the season our local Dick's is pretty low on tackle inventory so there isn't much for them to put on sale. A couple of years ago I lucked into a rod and some soft plastics at a nice price, but for the most part I don't really find much at sale time.

I don't agree with Dick's on what I think was a knee-jerk reaction to a tragic situation, but they have the right to make choices about their business. I can't imagine they realized much positive impact from the decision since those that would support what they did are buying workout clothes and that kind of stuff from them already. It is obvious they have lost customers as witnessed by some of the reaction here.

Dick's will survive, and if the government doesn't prohibit sales, I would be willing to bet that Dick's will have some AR's back on their racks at some point.

any company that dosn't support us dosn't deserve our support, if you don't feel like your vote counts in washington then count on the fact that voting your wallet will because politcians and corporations live by the ol mighty dollar alone, sorry dicks you won't be getting anymore sales from this countryboy.

I hope you get all kinds of good deals. Your politics and mine do not have to agree as long as our rights to do what we lawfully please to do are not taken away because others may think we don't need those rights.
