Thread: ky lake

ok this may be a dumb question, but i was talking to some other fisherman and i mentioned going to KY lake and they suggested going to barkley instead, said there were crappie, and bigger crappie. Is there any truth to this? i mean i always hear about KY lake crappie but not barkley. what are your thoughts

Right now, & don't ask me why, the bite is better on Barkley. May change this spring.

Ky has a lot of short fish that are just getting legal size. We had real good spawns back to back a few yrs ago. I suspect Barkley did as well.

I've caught some good fish on Barkley & Kentucky.
