I think it's a great program, just think how many people it affects who otherwise would never have an opportunity to fish. Glad you got on some fish "trout pappie". Lol my grandfather was from the mountains of East Tennessee and would fish for trout often. He could fry one up in a skillet with black pepper and it was delicious!

I agree, Brad .... I'm just glad they finally got around to putting the FINs designation on a lake in Lexington (which just happens to be the only public lake in town, & a mile or so down the road from my place )
I'll play with the trout, for the time being ... and probably give the catfish a whirl, once they're stocked --- BUT, I really, REALLY hope they decide to put in some hybrid Bluegill !! I don't really care what the creel limit on them would be, as I probably wouldn't keep all that many ... but, man o man can you imagine the pullage of a 2lb Bluegill on a microlite ..... whoaa baby

Oh, and believe me ... some of these little trout dudes are going to find themselves in a iron skillet, before too long ... count on it !!
