I like the looks of them, and they do look sturdy. Looks to have a simple, no tool approach to the vertical movement of the holders ... but, what about horizontal movement ?? They look as though they're static in the placement position of the rods, straight forward, and seperated by only the distance between the placement of each holder. That design might place it in a niche catagory, or limit the placement of the unit within the confines of various floor plans.

Dosn't look like you can rotate the rod holders. Could be a problem.
I like to turn mine. inside one almost in line with the boat and out side one almost 90 degrees to the boat.

Yep that will work. You can ajust each one separate. Or turn the vertical rod. That will work good. Tearem up!!

I was looking at them Saturday at Terry's. Great lookin rod holder, they can be turned side to side plus up and down.
I have the standard 4 rod holders. Two on the front and two on the rear. They work great! Best i have used.
Just things to remember..
If you do alot of adjusting for diff types of fishing, be sure to carry a wrench or extra nut caps in your boat. Those black caps turns a nut so that you can make your adjustments. If at any time it strips, then you can't adjust it.
You will also have to make sure that all poles are long handles so that they fit in the holders correctly. Sometimes night fishing i go to shorter rods. Them rods would not fit, had to get a few new short rods but with long handles.
I was kinda wondering about why the holders would be set in a static position. Thanks for clearing that up !!
Is there an adjustment nut under the holders, to tighten them into a spread position ??
I also like the idea of the nut caps being underneath the holder, rather than "inside" the cradle (like they are on the standard Cumb. & GR holders). Clears the way for the rod handle to not bump anything, when lifting the rod out of the cradle on hookset.
Any idea what this "new" setup will cost, and if it will come in 2-3-4 rod configuration ?? And what lake will they name this version after
