has anyone been to green lately?i havent been in 2 weeks just wondering if there still biting.

I went a couple days this week. I was trolling and had 3 one day and 8 the next. Alot of guys were fishing brush and trees around the bluffs. One guy caught several. Baitfish seemed to be as deep as 25 ft, so my trolling wasn't that effective. Website says temp and oxygen levels are uniform to about 25 ft. Others were fishing points.

just got back from grl,temp was 69-71.much wind again,tuff fishin again but me and dad finally did wind up catching 33 keepers, so a good day.most came on grey and black tubes .bite was slow on minners sat 9-29-12

I fished this morning until about 11 and had to drive around a bit to find where the fish had moved to since the last time I was out. Left with 18 for the fridge once I found a school of them and what color they wanted. The water had decent color with all the rains that have gone through recently, but the almost constant breeze made boat control difficult on the main lake. The fish are in their fall transition period as the water temp starts to dip below 70 and the days get shorter which puches them into two possible places...Some fish will start to stage deeper over open water ledges on the main lake as they pull out of the creeks while the ones that remain in the creeks or river will start holding tight to the wood cover.
