Got to go Tuesday morning 8 til about 1. Had 20 keepers and SEVERAL catfish for my aunt. Caught bunches of little ones.I see that your back. Did you all have a good trip?

Since you got to go fishing now, i take it that your wife is doing better? The catfish must still be spawning or was you fishing for them? My wife ask me last week if i caught any catchfish would
i keep them. She likes catfish and says that i am burning her out on crappie

What is a good Lake Cumberland pattern for crappie now? I want to take my two aunts crappie fishing, they live outside of Science Hill area. Any specific creeks good at this time in this area?

We just tried some new spots on the flats where we normally catch them this time of year. We caought them from 14-20 fow about 10-12 feet deep. We never did go up river where you normally see us, but as we were leaving we were wishing we at least checked it out. I really don't remember the water temps where we were. This was our first time on the lake since first of June I think or when I took my son, so it has been a while for us as well. It seemed like nobody had any trouble finding the little ones.Since you got to go fishing now, i take it that your wife is doing better? We were not fishing for catfish, they were just there.
Wife is doing better, just sore from surgery.
We might try it again on Friday, might go to Dale, or just might stay home. Haven't decided yet.
