    Thumbs up Green 5/19

Fished from 8am till 1:30pm. Fished my first spot, caught about 15 and put 6 of them in the live well in about 20 mins. Was doing good until somebody called me that we will not name (CUZZIN)Rofl. Just
kidding buddy. Finished the day with a limit. Mostly 10"-11" and a couple 12 1/2"-13 1/2". Caught most in 8-12fow, 5-8ft deep. 1/16 jig heads with minnows only. Others came from 35 fow, 14ft deep. Water
temp in the shallower water was 77 and 75.8 in the deeper.

You must know magic! I seen your truck at the bait store but i didnt see you at the ramp. I seen you are what was probably your first spot you but not sure it was you until i was going around the point and heard you talking on the phone. i was out on the flat when you idled around the point. I was going to come down and talk to you after i fished a little area, but by time i turned the boat you was gone. and then you was loading your boat, i was waiting for a guy to back my truck up and you was gone before we got the boat out. I see you did pretty good also. We had 90 keepers and most of ours was in the 10 to 11 inch range. We did have a few really nice ones. WE had 10 that was 13 1/4 to 14 1/2 and 1 that was a hair over 15(why cant that happen the the tourneys). But most of ours came in really deep water left of homes bend 35 to 42 fow fishing about 8 to 10 deep. Got 50 in the last hour we fished. Maybe i will get to talk the next time.

I know just a lil magic. If you seen my truck at the bait store then thats where i was. I am never to far away from my truck. When i am fishing an area and ready to move it only takes me a few seconds and i'm gone. My eye sight is really bad, i may have looked right at you but couldnt see good enough to tell it was you. It seems i Cant catch big fish during a tourney but do good any other time. Next time when you see me either throw rocks or sinkers at me or better yet, just do what the bass fishers do and drive beside me full throttle but half plane. That will get my attention. Going to try and get back down next weekend. Thinken about going tomorrow. See ya buddy.

I was out on the Flats Sunday morning and back up toward the bridge Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon when the boats came out. We caught 35 about 12 ft deep, and what was strange was that they had eggs in various stages of development, this was not what I expected, will these fish move up shallower and spawn or absorb these eggs?
Caught all these and 2 bonus cats on jig and minnows, spider rigged. If anyone sees a grey War Eagle Predator with a White 115 Johnson come by, I couldn't make the get together because of my working second shift and would like to meet you all.

    Hey Prty Cloudy,

Where you caught them, they could have be trying to spawn there. They can spawn in deeper water. I have only caught one where they eggs were turning white from being absorbed. They can also spawn up to 80 degree water. It depends alot on how the spring season has been. As long as the eggs look normal for spawning then they still may be trying. I know the ones i cleaned last weekend still looked good. If you see a short fat man in shorts and white t-shirt on a tan Fisher with a merc 90 give a shout.
