I have two 18" 4-rod holders on the front and two 24" on the rear. They work great. Mine dont shake, if they do it is so little i dont notice it. The trick to them not shaking i believe is to not just screw them down.
Once i bolted my base plate down it would not move. Just check all the twist screws before you fish to make sure they are tight. After a couple of times out and driving down the road they will loosen some, not much but enough to make you want to just check. Also once in a while check your welds. I had a rear one
that the weld broke away from the base back in early spring. Sent Terry an email on a Sunday about it with a picture of the base. He emailed me back in a hour and a half. Couple weeks later i had a replacement. They are great over there and these are they best that i have used.
