Holmes Bend and Columbia are on central (slow) time. You are correct.

SORRY ... I meant starting to fish at 700AM local time (Holmes Bend time). Sunrise will be ~6am (Holmes Bend time) ... so I wanted everyone to be able to meet/greet, exchange info & tactics, and generally BS for awhile before launching ... as well as being able to launch in daylight.

I just hope that everyone planning on coming will read this post, and adjust their timing (if necessary).

OK BOYS & GIRLS .... We are GO for the Slabfeast !! But, with the possibility of thunderstorms in the area, I want everyone attending to GET BACK TO THE MARINA at the first sight/sound of a thunderstorm. We'll wait it out, & resume fishing once it has passed.

ANYONE not attending due to the possibility of rain/storms ... and have volunteered to bring items for the fry ... Post notice here & I will try & procure those items on my way to the lake. I will take one last look at this thread, at approx. 4AM Lexington time ... so you have until then to inform me.

NOW ... with that being said --- should it occur that over 1/3 of the people planning on attending, decide not to ... then the event will be cancelled. SO ... check back here before you head out in the morning !!

Otherwise .... see ya'll down there !!

Leaving for Holmes Bend campground now, will be there this afternoon. I have had computer problems and been at Ky Lake for over 5 weeks, no need to be at home this weekend. Hope to see everyone there, I,ll be bringing some food and supplies also.
