    Default I need some ideas

well I'm looking for a place to stay for 10 days to 2 weeks in april at kentucky or barkley lakes, it dont need to be fancey , I just need someplace quite and with a bed, shower, toilet, tv and small kitchen. it would be nice if it is close to the ramp also.

oh it also needs to allow dogs my treeing fiest, Oliver will be comming with me

short story is i pissed my 5 other crappie fishin buddies off because i ask if they were going to sit at the cabin this year scared if the wind blew over 10 mph or if we got some rain lol ?

some of you might recall me askin about fishing down there last year, well we sat in the cabin 8 out of 10 days last year because wind and rain, hence why none of you got my report after we returned, and i had to ask them if it was going to happen again this year so i'm solo this year lol

i understand i might not get anything for this year but might get it booked for next year

    as always Thank you all

Be one of the best years to come to Kentucky Lake of recent years, I would come alone if I had to. Can't help you with places to stay if you aren't camping, but I would still find something if I were you and you have knowledge of basic methods applicable to KY lake given time period your looking to come down.

In my humble opinion the Moors is hard to beat, likely not the cheapest, but they have everything, cabins, rooms, marina store, restaurant, 2 ramps, I have stayed there 5 or 6 times, once you get there you don't really have to leave, they are located on Malcolm Creek, I have caught a boat load of slab crappie there, if the weather gets rough out on the main lake you can fish the creek, Skip

You might want to check with George and Chris at Bee Spring Lodge. Great folks, good but not fancy accommodations, restaurant on site and good fishing nearby.
