    Default Checking on everybody

Hope everybody is OK after the storms today. Not to bad up here in Cynthiana, just a lot of rain. It's the time to really watch the weather. Stay safe.

We cool in LexVegas ... rain & wind was about it, for us. Just found out last night at work, that we (UK Hosp.) received 10 trauma patients air lifted in on Friday night ... victims of the storms. Also heard that someone from "The Weather Channel" was in town ... usually not a good sign, but haven't heard why they were "here".

CP good to hear you and Lex is ok, probably Lexington is their base with some driving in and others flying in to cover storm damage in West Liberty,Sayersville and Laurel County. They will also tag along with NWS during the storm assesments. Louisville is full also with TV, Weateher channel people covering Southern Indiana.

I'm just a few miles south of Hodgenville where one of the larger tornadoes hit in Larue County. It looks like upwards of 30 houses have been damaged but no fatalities reported. The National Guard has just arrived and they are shutting the area down at dusk to prevent looting. Power is still out in a good part of the region-I know there are a few members that live right in Hodgenville so hopefully they will post up soon so we know they are okay.

I'm ok. Spent most of yesterday morning with my daughter( home because she only had a 6PM college class) in the basement watching the weather updates. I live about 4 miles north of the touchdown Harry Owen trucking. My daughters friend lives in the subdivision off hwy 61 just east of HOT and luckly her house is ok but she come home from classes in Louisville to find all the mess. My wife subed at one of the schools in town and said it was wild with the warnings and getting kids into the hallway 3 times. A friend called me to give updates that he was getting off his police scanner after the touchdown at HOT. The tornado that got Hodgenville the TV weather showed it on Eagle mills road in Hardin county going towards Larue county. My fishing buddy lives on that road. I called him, everything ok but he saw it 100 feet off the ground in a soy bean field in front off his house.
Prayers to all that had damage. Looks like tomorrow is going to be rough weather. Everyone stay safe, and tune to TV, radio, or weather monitors and please heed the warnings to seek shelters during extreme weather.
    Regards
