I always clean mine at home and had started burying the carcasses in the garden. Well, seems now I'm having more trouble than i want keeping my bulldog from digging 'em up so it's back to dumping on dirt roads for me. If anything the counties should give you a place to dump deer, fish, etc., carcassses. We dont have a short fish size limit but I'd be in favor of it. IMO, anything small that 8" is a waste to clean unless it swallows a hook.

Same here with the dog. Built my own cleaning station but my lab wants to eat the guts or drink the fish water....iced a few in a bucket outside overnight.....coon took the biggest out of my short bucket and left just the head!! Left scales and a head.....Gonna get me a coon....

Does this mean we can't eat a cold fish sandwich in the boat? Tuna salad?
Crappie spawning and morels popping up at the same time. What was God thinking when he made that schedule. It's pure torture every spring deciding which to do.

KY Fishing and Boating Guide page 16 "Anglers shall not remove any part of the head or tail of any fish for which there is a size or creel limit until finished fishing and off the water."
OK to eat tuna fish or probably a cold fried fish sandwich out of your cooler that was cooked at home. You can't do a shore lunch or supper.
The fish and game guys are doing their job duties and helping to protect our future resources. If you don't have one of the handy measuring checkers for crappie, I would get one. I have been checked by f&g on the water and they randomly checked fish out of the livewell.

My thinking is if you keep the carcass of the fish you caught you will be ok. Am I wrong? If I have caught my limit I would have 60 filets and 30 skeletons in posession, is that legal? If it isnt then I have broken the law several times.

    You have broken the law.
Big deal - just clean them after getting off the water. It's the law in many states.
