    When do they start raising the lake levels here in Kentucky?

    Depends on the lake. Kentucky and Barkley start April 1st.

    Raising or raising/lowering/raising/etc? They will usually start letting them come up as we get rains in late March to April. They rarely quit messing with the levels until lake lice season.

    As for the smaller lakes in central Ky (Green, Nolin, Rough) they normally start holding them Mar 15

    Louisville District Daily Lake Report
    Here is a link that is helpful for the central Ky lakes. Normal schedule is winter draw down starts sep15 and refill starts mar15
    But like CP said, weather dictates this a lot and is very unpredictable
