Went fri, about 1/4" of ice up above Holmes Bend toward the bridge temp 34. Water is still pretty muddy. Found fish back toward Holmes 15 ft down in 20 ft of water temp around 41 there. The bite was slow plus the wind got bad. Only had 9 keepers.

Shoud be better today. Good Luck.

    how did everyone do today?
We started at the bridge above HB. Plenty of fish on the sonar but no bite. Fished back to HB without any luck
Ended up below HB throwing jigs into deep wood on the channel banks and boated 18 keepers.
Much tougher day than I expected.

Kept 28 today. Started really slow this morning across from the dam and boated a few nice fish, then the fish just turned off about 11:00. Ran all the way past Holmes to the bridge and caught several smaller fish but nothing of size. Cruised back toward Ramp One and caught the rest over deep rocky breaks in up to 36 FOW. As a bonus I caught a 16" walleye at 4 o'clock-first one of the new year and a nice way to start with a pound and a half fish.

I guess we were the low men on the totem pole. We caught alot of fish, but only kept 10 fish between 10-12 inches. Still a great day to be out.
