Anyone that wants to bring some fish it sounds like we are going to have a pretty good crowd so please bring what you can. I have 10 quart bags in the freezer and commitments for 100 more fillets. Thanks!

If I had bags of crappie fillets I would bring them. That's the reason we are coming to Ky lake. To hopefully fill a few bags to take home. If we have a good week and catch some we will surly share at the fish fry.
I keep hearing about this fruit jar adventure. And that some may have indulged a little too much.Rofl
Crappie spawning and morels popping up at the same time. What was God thinking when he made that schedule. It's pure torture every spring deciding which to do.

    Hi Terry,

i would have liked to have made it and bring the boys with me but three days ago I had a total knee replacement. Maybe we can get together this winter and wet a line. I'm not moving very fast right now. I will be enjoying the boat a lot more by then.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Man I would really love too. I am still in the hospital in Indy hoping to go home today but they’re not for sure yet. Hurt my knee in High School playing basketball, twice while working as a police officer, and finally a few years back fishing a Crappie USA tournament in Mississippi. I drank a bottle of water, capped it and threw it into the bottom of the boat, then went to move and stepped down on it twisting my knee and ripping loose the remaining cartridge. Not good at all!

I know I have a crew of 4-5 guys including my brother Dan who would love to meet everyone. Dan and I were supposed to fish the Classic this past weekend and woke up to vehicle trouble. By the time we got the vehicle going we would have been too late to register. It sounds like with the cold front coming through Thursday afternoon/evening it was more of a deep water, spider riggers, tournament anyway. Not my usually to say the least. Tell everyone including Big Bad Dad and JT I said hello and take care. I will be looking for some pictures posted next week.

Also tell Paul I said hello and if he can post the fall netting surveys on here once completed. I have wanted to ask him about a few years ago. They had nets out in Jonathan in late October but pulled them. They may have moved them, not for sure. But in mid-late November the crappie made a big push shallow. I wondered if they missed them and/or how long they leave out the nets come fall. The report also makes for good reading on cold winter evening.

    Take Care Brother! Thumbs Up
