Is the water muddier in one than in the other. Or is there more current to keep the water fresher.

This may sound silly..... however I would like to hear your opinion
My wife tells me the crappie from Nolin taste much better than the ones from Green.
No other variables. Fish from the same time of year, same oil, same batter, etc.
Anyone else think so ?

I think they taste like jigs, but some taste like minners, or cranks!!! Don't know why.

LOL Big river...thats cute....I liked that one, My thoughts on subject would be that the fish in Nolin might have better habitat, not fished there before, but I`ve heard that its a clean lake, water is very clear. Green is a good lake not ever seen water very clear. Im no expert, but seems to reason that a clearer, cleaner lake would produce healthier fish and could make their meat have a slighly different taste.
My boat maybe old, but shes still... FAST !!
