Default Little River - Then Blood

Hey all. I'll be fishing the Little River on Barkley Wednesday and Thursday, this coming week, then over to Blood River on KY for Friday. Hope my timing is good....I've missed the last 2 years. 650 mile drive each way. Anyone been fishing Little River lately? Would appreciate any tips & input. See you all on the water next week!

That's a long drive and with the rain we have been getting you may want to reconsider your plans.
It's been very rainy this spring and many bodies of water are like chocolate milk.
Check on YouTube for videos and Search Google for Kentucky Spring Rains.
We may to get rain just about everyday this week.

I made the 650 mile trip tuesday. It rained all the way thru ohio and kentucky getting there. Almost a 12 hr drive pulling the boat but it was worth it to me. 7 keepers the first day, 9 the second. Thursday and friday i got limits and 6 redears as kickers. Fished shallow those 2 days and it paid off. I was in jonathon creek tho. Might try shallow at blood river. White hair and black hair jigs tipped with waxworm, under a small bobber.

Then again it may be the best time to be there. My best days are on cloudy days and the fish seem to be turning on at KY.

While normally true, high winds with severe thunderstorms are usually not very conducive to fishing.
