Looks like today is going to be a peach of a day, good luck to those who are making it out.
Can't wait to get ky lake tomorrow. staying near moors.
Would appreciate the latest and greatest pattern to Help make the lake a bit smaller, I was hoping they would be on the banks this weekend.

Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley Fishing Reports
I live here. I get a lot more daily reports from die hard crappie fishermen than the local tourism department and they all still say that it stinks. :D
We got skunked last night and this morning on Eddy Creek.
One 10 lb catfish last night.
Same brush that was holidng nice ones on Saturday.
Fished from 6 feet water to 23' water. Six poles spider rigging doulble minnows and vertical jigging.
Good Luck

Detailed reports are that nobody is catching anything unless you have a gps full of waypoints to hit to scratch out one here and one there. Even that is hit or miss.
The water dropped nearly 7 feet in about 2 weeks and now it has jumped back up 2 feet in 2 days.
Quackrstackr hit the nail on the head. It's tough right now on Kentucky! fished the past two days and was probably the worst fishing I've ever experience on the big pond. Also, the worst wind I've fished in!! There was two guys who flipped their boat in West Sandy Creek on Saturday. Luckily they were wearing PFD's and were okay. Their boat on the other hand is upside down lodged against the bank! They apparently called everywhere trying to locate someone to help them get it pulled out. A local guy there had the equipment but told them it would cost $1800.00 to remove it. Glad they were okay, but man do I feel sorry for them! Guys be careful fishing out there in those winds!
