    Default Caught a few!

Was out from 9 to 3. Wind and rain chased me off the water....I must be gettin soft!Thumbs Up Caught a couple of keepers with a pic below.Fished from 3 feet to 16 feet. 13 seemed the spot but not very productive. Caught a couple small largemouths (14 3/4 in) and a couple yella bellies.Chartreuse jighead and a natural colored minnow body. No takers on live bait which kinda blew my mind! Fishing after that hard rain last night and then into this cold front probably wasn't the smartest but noone ever accuses me of being smart anyway!!! Friday and saturday is on come h*** or even higher water. Water is at 359+ and temp was 48.8. One black about 13 inches and the white was 11 1/2.

    Thumbs up Good Deal

You stay after'um! Did you catch them in the same general area/depth?

I get home 1 week from today and am ready to unwind from the stress of navagate'n this high water. You take your eyes off this thing for a second & your in the trees!

I'm gonna come home next Thur. & me and Angle are gonna smoke their butts! Thumbs Up

Sun's gonna pop out for a few days, lake's rising, that ol'dirty water's gonna warm up in the back of the bays, gonna be a lotta current in the main lake, & I'm gonna catch fat fish, in skinny water, around flooded brush! That is till the big cold front hits a week from Sat.

    Payback... 1 week & count'n down!

When you get home I don't think there will be a fish in the lake that has a chance Whiskers sounds like a plan.

By the background I'm guessing you practiced catch and release. Catch'em today and relase them into Lake Crisco tonight. LOL

If you release them in peanut oil instead crisco you will be a happy man

Nice catch. I hope they will be biting good the middle of April.
