Well there is no doubt we are all in agreement here! And yes it was hard for me to believe there was actually another world past the Ohio in the north! But you may notice I did swim back first chance I got!Thumbs Up

There are some awesome folks in Indiana as well. And for that matter my wifes dad lives in Lake Bluff Il. and I can't think of a better guy. Hey he is a fisherman too LOL. I knew I liked that guy for some reason:D

I have to agree, we do live in a great state. I wished I lived a little closer to a body of water. But I can be at some great water in a little over and hour in any direction.

Really, I Used to live in Brown County, Indiana, the hunting there is average, but it was an hour drive to the nearest public Lake, and Lake Monroe was only 10,750 acres of water.

I live 10 miles from the 160,000 acre Kentucky Lake, and the 57,000 acre Barkley Lake is within 25 miles of my house. I live 10 miles from 220,000 acres of Water.

I never said the lack of water kept me from fishing, although I never heard much good about Monroe. Job kept me busy night and day. From all accounts I heard while in Bloomington, there was more beer in that lake than anything else except maybe jetskis... I could be wrong tho...

Yes, that is an accurrate description of Lake Monroe, It's a party lake for Indiana Universty Students. The lakes in KY seem to be way less crowded, and they are more used for fishing.
