Keep an eye on this site TVA: Kentucky You want to see the tailwater elevation going down. That will tell you that the Ohio is dropping. Also look at the predicted data and watch for inflow to drop below outflow. They've just put the stopper in to hold the water back, but if the crest on the Ohio gets past, they may open it back up. The Ohio and Mississippi are both getting rain tonight.

Looks like they are trying to hold below 358 for another couple of days. Kentucky is spilling better than 155,000cfs now but they are planning to let it go up toward 359 Wednesday.

Well,,here in Indiana,,they are forcasting above normal precipitation for the next 30 days, and all of our lakes are normal if not way above normal as they are holding, and if I look at the forcasts,,our rivers are to peak next Thurs,,however,,more rain coming in next Wed nite again,,this La Nina is kicking some butt this year so its going to be a wetter than normal spring if not one of the wettest in a long time.

They opened Barkley a little this afternoon. Rainfall somewhere must have been less than expected. We are all but flooded here around the White River, but it seems like the rain is over for a spell.

They've pulled the plug a little. Kentucky is spilling about 125,000cfs and Barkley about 76,000cfs.

A levee broke up here, so some of our rain is filling up a cornfield instead of heading for the Ohio.
