Kentucky at 356.5 predicted to go to 357.5 by Sunday and they are throttling back both dams a little. Barkley went from 80,000cfm this morning down to 66,000cfm now, and Kentucky is going from 95,000cfm today to 82,000cfm tomorrow.

Yep, it''s gonna get high again this year. 2 days ago Barkley was at 121,000! I am above Clarksville, Tn. & can't get under the RR bridge due to high water. They want to run it out but Cairo is over 40' so they are hold'n water. Big flooding coming on the Oh, Upper & lower Miss. She's gonna get nasty! Real nasty!

We don't want too but we're sending a bunch your way. Let's get this high water over with now before April gets here.

Kentucky is down to below 82,000cfs already and Barkley is at 60,000cfs. The White and Wabash are going to be carrying a bunch to the Ohio too.

    Wiskers:

We were heading down two weeks from today. Are we screwed or is there hope that we may still get into some fish? We are heading to your neck of the woods, shawnee bay, moors area.

You can say told ya so. I rember readin' a thread 4-5 weeks ago, where you said it looked like it might the worst you've seen in all your time on the river. More heavy rain for next week, not what we're needing.

Keep an eye on this site TVA: Kentucky You want to see the tailwater elevation going down. That will tell you that the Ohio is dropping. Also look at the predicted data and watch for inflow to drop below outflow. They've just put the stopper in to hold the water back, but if the crest on the Ohio gets past, they may open it back up. The Ohio and Mississippi are both getting rain tonight.
