Below KY and Barkley Dams????

Just wondering if any of you guys fish below either KY or Barkley dam? I have fished both for bass and catfish but never crappie. Thinking about maybe trying it this spring and need some pointers. I figue the fish spawn about the same time on either side of the dam and maybe the rivers arent fished as hard. Any help is appreciated!

I have a buddy that spider rigs below KY dam...on the river side of the dam...(north)...

He mentioned fishing in the cutout where the old floating baitshop used to be....and the small cutout at the north end of the steep concrete wingwall coming down from the dam on the Marshall Co. side.....

I used to catch crappie casting jigs next to the short wall at barkley lock. You can also catch crappie ariund the new bridge piers below Ky Dam.

I've gone down river & fished up in the creeks on the Liv. Co. side & caught crappie.
