I was in Ky river over the weekend, as for lock 2 I fished Sat. from 3-6 pm with no hits. I used artificial, small bucktail jigs, plastics, suspending crank bait, spoons. I went back Sun. early am hours with my father and repeated what I was useing. Both days I fished from the bank, I was lazy and didnt take the boat out. I didnt fish on top of the dam neither because on the landing it is painted on the ground no tresspassing. Shad are there in the lock approach some brush in the lock. Spoke to two other fishermen down there and they told me there last three trips, they have not caught anything. Thought I give a heads up to some of the guys in the area and Frankfort pool.

Winter fishing has been terrible. Sorry to hear you struck out again. I watched Ky Afield and the river reports sure don't match what has been happening around the state.

I thought the same thing Bassky. They're reports didn't match the ones I've heard.
