I'm all for a fish fry. 2 months & 6 days later the guy finnally sent me the new regulator. I had already bought me a good American Made 1 though. She is up & running. She'll heat 5 gal of oil up to 370 in about 20 minutes. I'm still PO'd cause the guy took so long.

The fish fry is a go!

That is a nice place you will be staying at. Kentucky lake is big, it's 160,000 acres of water, and it's connected to Barkley lake which is around 58,000 acres of water. So the two lakes combine for a total of nearly 220,000 acres of water. Check out LBL if you have the time. Lots of deer, and wild turkey in certain places. http://www.lbl.org/

This can be of use to you, http://www.lbl.org/FishingReport.html

I usually fish around the Blood River area, and from highway 68 south, there is good fishing all over the lake, but I like to fish from Highway 68 south to Interstate 40 in Tennessee. But you can catch good fish any place on the lake.
I live 10 miles from the 160,000 acre Kentucky Lake, and the 57,000 acre Barkley Lake is within 25 miles of my house. I live 10 miles from 220,000 acres of Water.

It has been really mild down here along the Kentucky/ Tennessee border this year. I seen some Bass Boats out on KY Lake today. It's been in the 40's lately, awhile back it was in the 50's.
