Ditto...Seem's like the Winter get's colder, the Summer get's hotter every year,and Spring and Fall last about 2-3 weeks

On the contrary Hunter, winter is the best time to crappie fish as long as the water isn't frozen. No Sea-Doos, plus the slabs bite and hold on and don't flip off once you get them to the top.

sunday we got 3 inches of snow with 35 MPH winds. I coudn't see across the road. Almost everything closed.
This morning it was below ZEEEEEEEEERO wind chill. They said you would get frost bite in 10 min.
I want to live in Kentucky can't be a s bad as Illinois flat lands and high winds.
Could be worse I could be farther north.

Possible freezing rain Wed night and Thrusday. Now tell that winter does not suck. It's to early in the season for this crap. Anyone going fishing Thrusday?

Granted, it isnt nearly as cold down here (although this week has been in the teens never reaching freezing and especially cold with the 20+ mph winds we're having:rolleyes but since it's turned colder the bigger fish have shown up more often. It's no worse fishing than deer hunting...just takes all your hunting clothes to go fishing in.:o So far it's been fun...I just wished the weather would level out and become more predictable so you can "plan" trips to go fishing.:o

It has been a long time since I seen it so cold so soon and it is not even winter yet! With the hot summer we had i would of thought we would have a very mild winter but the cold just keeps coming. I keep telling myself it will warm up soon but my hopes are soon gone every time I look at the weather channel web page. Here in the Louisville area we have not set any records that I know of YET..
Well people stay warm be safe and happy holidays it will soon be spring and we can get back after those slimy critters.

We're 2 1/2 weeks from January...

Plus, it's KY. Give it a few days and it's liable to be 75 degrees.
