I don't think Taylorsville Lake is any more polluted than any other lake in the state ... and I've yet to read any technical articles (on water quality) that supports it being so. And, there's no "Fish Consumption Advisory" against the Crappie in Taylorsville.

As far as Bryozoan colonies being a "water quality" indicator ---> Bryozoans
