There are alot of boats out in the spring - but the good thing about it is they are all fishing - and there is more than enough water to go around. The only time I consider it too crowded is in the summer when you have the same ammount of guys out fishing, and add a couple thousand other boats (cabin cruisers, wake boarders, ski boats, jet skis....) - so spring really isn't so bad.
