Thread: How's the fall shellcracker bite at KY Lake?

I know May and June are the big cracker months down there but I'm sure there's plenty of fall activity too. I've been catching a few nice ones up here in these small Southern Indiana lakes I fish.

Has anyone heard or does anyone know first hand how the cracker bite is down there right now? I would guess some big ears would be caught because of the winter feeding frenzy.

Had a buddy of mine from work go down for a week and it was not good. This was about three weeks ago so maybe his timing was off.

how tall are some of your stakes look rather tall. what is the deepest water you set those in? do they float till you add the weights
