You guys be careful this weekend.
Make sure you folks that are new on the lake have a map. The water is 5ft shallower than what the map says.

Some people make the lake out to be dangerous at winter pool. I think it's more like deceptive. It's so big that people quit worrying about depth. Don't!

If it's windy, listen to what the locals say about the main lake. It's a shallow lake that gets waves on it like a deep lake. It behaves in a way that is like no other I've been on. If the water gets too rough, pull into a bay and call somebody to come get your keys and bring your trailer to you. Nobody who knows the lake will laugh at you for playing it safe. Spearing a wave even in a 20ft boat is guaranteed to induce an increased pucker factor, especially when your lunch is floating around your feet.
