39 degrees at the house this morning!!! 1 week before Crappie camp. Son!!!

Them ol'crappie gonna be ready by next weekend! Gonna have to hide to bait your hook!

Looked at the 15 day forecast & this com'n weekend (our weekend) is gonna be, highs in the high 70's/low 80's and low's will be in the high 40's/low 50's! Only downside is high, clear skies. Perfect camp'n weather! I can't wait!

Looks like we couldn't have picked a better weekend to have it. Hope the fish will cooperate. I'm torn with whether to try pulling, or spider-rigging. Guess I'll just have to experiment with both. I'll be handicapped a little bit, haven't fished the north end of the lake for Crappie before.

Brad don't feel bad about not having fished the north end before,because I've got you beat. I'm hoping to get down there Saturday and Sunday and it'll be the FIRST time I've EVER been on the water there.
With my luck I'll get there too late to hit the water, but we'll see. Probably be like last spring at Green, I got there just in time to see about 7 or 8 boats leaving the ramp.

Busier than a l legged man in a butt kick'n contest yesterday! Gonna cook breakfast for my honey at camp this morning. May try to get on the water for a while this afternoon.

This cold front has knocked'um in the head! They'll be recovered by the middle of the week!

Hey whiskers. thanks for the invite my son and i are going to be able to make it down this weekend. we will be staying at town and country on johnathan creek, but we are going to find a boat ramp close to big bear and hang out with the ky boys for awhile. we will be in ky early friday morning, and look foward to meeting everyone.
