Rough River
Going to Rough River this weekend to try and find some Crappie. If anyone has any info they would like to share I would greatly appreciate it. I will give a report when I get back.

I went this past Sunday and caught about 50 but only had 3 or 4 that would have been legal. Fished several spots around north fork area. Plan on going back this Saturday. I'll be in a older bass tracker with a CDC sticker on the windshield and spider rig holders on the front. Say hi if you see me and maybe we can find some fish. Caught fish last week spider rigging over brush in about 20' water and when I ran out of minnows I switched to jigs and caught them single pole jigging in brush.

Sorry I missed you CrappieKing, we are in a ProCraft red and white with CDC sticker on windshield as well. We fished up in Tules and caught 20 keepers on Saturday with probably 20 shorts. We only had 4 keepers on Sunday though in same spot. Fished 12 to 14 feet deep in 20 feet of water. Going to try it again next weekend hope to see you there.

What was your average size fish. I went again this past saturday and had similar results as the previous weekend. Lots of short fish but they were biting well. Didn't measure any but most seemed to be in the 8-9"'range

Average was 9.5 to 10" with the biggest 11.5", the bigger ones should start showing up hopefully this weekend.
