Thread: cave run crappie

I found crappie in 22 to 26 foot of water bumping bottom on the river ledges in the main lake. A few was in the 14in range. I'm glad to see the crappie doing well at the cave. Water temp was 78. Its only going to get better the next few weeks.

What part of the main lake did you fish? I put in at Blackwater yesterday and caught around 70 I kept 24 from 9in the biggest 12 1/2in most were 10 to 11in. I caught the bigger ones in 3 feet of water! I couldn't believe it. I fished most of the day in 12 to 14 foot of water.

I was at the back side of the lake by beaver creek and the river.
