    Default Green 9/11

Anyone fish Green this weekend? Curious how you did.
We fished all day Sat. and it was the toughest day I have had all summer.
The crappie seem to be scattered and the summer pattern didn't work today.

We fished Green today but we were in the tourney and could only keep 7 for the weight in. We caught about 70-90 fish 9-10.5 inches but had to throw them back in cause our 7 keepers where bigger. We were fishing the flats and following thier ledges. Using minnows and 2" SP tube jigs tip/w minnows. 23-29 fow and fishing the bottom. Good luck

That is interesting. I started out on deep wood throwing jigs and ended up doing better in the back 1/3 of the creeks.
How did you do in the tourny?

With the water temps coming down they will start getting shallower. We stayed in the deeper waters looking for the bigger and more mature crappies. We ended in fourth place but it was fun! Looking forward to the next one. Good luck to all.

Anybody fish up in the river in the fall and winter? If so when do they normally start moving into the river and are they keeper size ?
    Thanks,
