Sorry Cane Pole, I couldn't get Roxie's ok to bring the cake in and the model, well she is 80 and broke her hip and I don't think you would be exited if I jumped out of the cake:D:D. Oh well, its the thought that counts.

Caught a crappie on a roostertail this evening. Heard a rumor the crappies are startin up.......it's almost time..................

do any of you fish in eastern ky/ southeast tn line close to laurel?

Although I'm on the boat I still keep up with the conditions. The lakes are cooling and the water levels are settling down.

I talked to a buddy of mine the other day who is a guide. I told he that I bet the bays are starting to fill up with bait. He said the bays are full of shad. We all know what that means. I believe that before the end of the month the Blacks will be turning on and the Whites will be right behind them. We may get lucky on our timing for Crappie Camp. Everybody pray for good weather.

Three weeks and counting!

I will be off a week before the Camp & I'll do my best to locate some fish and share whats working or not working.

I was at my brothers house just around the bay from Big Bear and the lake is going down. I didn't measure, but it looked to have dropped a 1-2 feet. I thought they went to winter pool in November?
