There is a perfect spot right beside me (lot 72). If the weather gets ruff we can get ya right over in my camper to ride it out. I'm also gonna try to get a porta potty set up on my spot so you'll be close to that too. There is also a shower house close.Quote:

Terry, good talking with you today appreciated the call. I spoke with Roxie this afternoon, went ahead and reserved site #72. Still not sure if my knucklehead will be making the trip with me or not. I know if he is able, he'll want to. Just gotta see if his mother made fall break plans or not.
We (myself and two/three other buddies) will be down early Saturday morning. Check in at Shawnee Bay and will be on the water early. At least that's the plan right now. We would also like to attend, and want to contribute. Since we are new to all of this and out of staters we are real sure where Big Bear is located. I think it's close to Shawnee Bay if I'm not mistaken. We are willing to supply whatever is needed, we do cook a mean marinated pork loin. We could bring a few of those once we get some numbers of people finailzed. Anyway, any details would be great. Thanks for your generosity.
We all have a common bond... We love to crappie fish. You come on. I think as far as the food goes, with the exception of the fish fry, we can kinda "pot luck" it. It works at my family reunions and we feed about 100. With a little help I think I can handle the fish fry'n. My new fish cooker should be here Sat. and I can do fish and hushpuppys at the same time. Got another big cooker for frys. throw in a couple of big pots of white beans an some slaw & we got it.Quote:

Sign me up!!!! I can throw in some crappie and bluegill fillets also. The bluegill is good if you put them in a crab boil and eat'em just like shrimp.

I am gonna try and be there the 9th and 10th. I supposed to work afternoons but i am going to try and take vacation. Taking the wife to see miranda lambert in murray on the 8th but i should be able to help out during the day if needed.
