    Default Ky River

I was fishing the Ky River Tues and Wed down at my dads where we vacationed and could not buy a crappie but the flat heads and channel cats were just hitting like it was going out of style on the rocky banks on crankbaits. I was fishing the morning hours till late afternoon, creeks were graphing 80 degrees in the morning and the main river was 83 degrees. All the fishing I or we did was below lock 2 pool. If anybody fishes that part of the upper pool by twin creek all the way past drennon, there are 2 liter bottles with string on them marking sumerged timber, they are not jugs for cat fish, thought I might give a heads up. I dont know about everybody else but this year has been slow for me in our northern ky lakes, and up and below on the ohio rivers meldahl pool. On the ohio the water has been graphing about 84 to 86 degrees.
