Thumbs up There are still a few left.

Went out crappie fish'n after the storm. Caught about 30 but only had 18 keepers. Not bad for about 4 1/2 hrs.

Fished ledges in the mouth of the bays. 3/32 oz jig with a 2" red and chartruse southern pro tube. 10' to 12' deep in 16' to 13' of water. Mixed bag of blacks and whites. most keepers were 11" to 12" fish.

Good catch for this time of year. With the temps we've been having figured the water would be boiling.

Good catch. Was on the Ohio last monday and pasted two boats with barges, wondered if you were on one of them.

This heat is sure making it hard to fish.

    Congrats on the catch!

You missed a good time at the bridge last night. Got there at 9 and were limited out at 11:30. The lake was rough and we were the only boat there. We did get to talk about you since we had a pair of barges meet just south of us. We figured that cross wind and a bridge at night makes for a pretty good pucker factor.

Congrats on the catch. That's pretty dang good for this time of the year.

Wish my back hadn't been screaming last night or we could have made it a full boat limit, mrdux.

    Cool

I just couldn't get that limit! I could kick myself. I was catch'n fish on 1 pole with the red and chartruse but was try'n diff. colors on the other. Not 1 bite on the other rod. After about 8 fish on the red I said "You dumba$$, 8 fish have told u what they want, use it!" So I switched to red and sure enough... Started catch'n.

As far as the heat, it wasn't that bad after the rain. The water temp was 82/83 and air temp was in the mid 80's.

After about 6:30 the bite slowed bigtime. When I talked to Dux on the phone I think I had 16, I only caught 2 more keepers after that. I don't know if it was the clearing skies or that idiot in the great big yella speed boat that kept buzz'n me. Oh well, u gotta expect that this time of year I guess. Still pi$$es me off though. :D

May try some nite fish'n while the great nephews are in. Them 2 boys are almost as excited as I am about their visit.

Wish I had gone with u guys dux. Sounds like yall had a ball.
