Barkly?

I saw a news release from the CG this morning that they have opened both lakes except for the 2 mile stretch above and below both dams.

Looks like you may have lucked out but I'm not sure if any of the marinas are letting people take their houseboats out on it or not. A friend and I just drove up to KY to look around and the main lake looks like coffee with an extra shot of creamer. Blood River looked good, at least south of Wildcat did. Water was in the parking lots of both ramps that we looked at and I didn't see a single boat out there anywhere.

Thanks for the update. We are coming down tuseday night and staying till Sunday I was going to come down Monday don't know if it wolud be worth the time.

You need to go to the website moorsresort.com and take a look at what Kentucky Lake looks like right now. Barkley can't be much better. At the top of the website page is a link to the current lake levels. This will give you an idea of what is going on with the lake level and the discharge amounts.

Everyone to their own but there is no way I would be on Barkly lake right now. Way to much trash/dangerous.

It was up this time last year but it can't be near as bad as this mabye I'll make a turn for the best.

Probably close back down monday the big bass tourney will be over tomorrow..

Unless they scrambled around on Friday and reorganized it, they cancelled that one last Wednesday.

From the looks of the dozens of glitter rigs in Draffenville Sat afternoon, somebody had a tourney anyway.

Yea I heard yesterday they told them to put in at Moors Buckhorn Johnathon Creek and they would have it anyway..
