    Exclamation Get to high ground

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some Gopher Wood? Ain't that what Noah used to build the Ark?

The Animals are starting to pair up! Hope it's just a sign of mating season!

Ain't gonna be long and we're gonna be able to see over the tops of trees out here on the river banks.

Lower guage ar Cheatham is almost 400'. I personally have never seen it that high in my 30+ years on the river. That's about 40' of extra water.

Ought to save you some time not having to follow the rivers anymore. Just plot a straight course and go!

Shellcrackers like a firm bottom. I would suggest trying the parking lot at the Benton Walmart. :D

All joke'n aside. You won't be able to launch a boat at many ramps by friday.

Hey Wiskers, hope you are staying dry.

I'd say you will be able to find some wood after all this rain.

I saw where KY Lake came up 4' that's alot of water for sure.

Hope all is well and everyone is staying safe across the state.

We launched straight off of the road yesterday afternoon and ran the boat across where we normally park.

The people fishing the road/parking lot fared a lot better than we did. We caught one small fish and watched them haul out 2 before getting out of the way so that I could put the trailer in the water.

Looks like the fish have moved all the way back into the mess already so you may need to take a chainsaw and weedeater with you to get your boat to where the fish are. The water wasn't nearly as muddy as I thought that it would be but I suspect that it will get there as soon as all of the flood water gets there. The lake was like a sheet of glass yesterday afternoon.

Predicting 367+ by wednesday! Last spring water made it to 365 and it was way high....guess that's why they keep the winter pool low.

And they are expecting to discharge 270,000 cubic feet of water per second tomorrow. That is more than 2 million gallons of water per second. and it's still climbing

That water must have come up really fast. No one there on the weekends to move those trucks to high ground? I thought we had it bad up here but nothing like that. I hope to be fishing again next weekend.
