    bigbaddad,
Ok I will fess up. Everytime all of us here in Indiana see a moron like that, we are very pleasant with them. We really talk up Ky lake and just tell them what they are missing. We tell them anything just to get the morons off the Indiana lakes. Sorry to send them your way, but it works for us.

Not my fault. 160,000 acres of water and they mess up a 30x30 spot...go figure....hope they have fun on the long haul back home. Indiana sucks by the way.

Only way I know how to settle this is to have UK and IU play a game each of basketball, and football, and a 3 game series of baseball. Best two out of three gets KY lake. All of it too, even the part in Tenn.

Don't be giving up our secrets on how we get people to leave our lakes...The next thing you know we will have people from KY up here trolling close to us.
It's sad to say these type of people are everywhere. One thing about what happened to you bigbaddad is they were fishing and not watersking or riding jet skies. I can handle another fisherman alot better the a pleasure boater.
Oh and by the way it wasn't me!!!! Lol!

    Default Hoosiers

Don't feel alone. I was fishing in Big Sandy last week, sitting 200 yards off the channel, not a boat within a quarter mile, and here comes a big Red Lund V-Bottom with Indiana registration. They proceed to drive between me and my marker buoy and then make a hard left turn to keep from running ashore. I guess there is a reason they're called "Hoosiers".

I knew I wasn't the only one who had a problem with red Lund boats with IN registration. I had a guy pull a pistol on me in one a few years ago near Blood River because he thought I was getting too close to their boat. I was at least 50 yards away, crossing a bay with my trolling motor. I had caught several slabs within sight of the 3 of them and could hear every word this fat POS was saying. I still wish I had took my best shot at sticking my Skeeter Starfire boat in his place where the Lord split him. Not that it would have solved any issues but it would have been fun trying! I still hate red Lund boats!!! Never had any more issues with the operators of said boats, thank goodness!!

Dissing other state boaters is a little like the car made in america debate. When you look under the surface, a good number of those KY boats belong to people who weren't born/bred there , but just moved there like bigbaddad. Likewise, you must know that a large number of Kentuckians migrated to the southern third of Indiana during 50's and 60's to find work and many of those guys head back home to Ky as often as they can to fish. So where do you pick up your fishing manners....your adoptive state or your born and bred state? Jerks are just jerks, and every state has them.

Now as far as the basketball challenge, we need to delay that one for maybe a few yrs. We're digging ourselves out of a hole up here :o:o
